WHAT TO EXPECT

Participants can expect to acquire AI skillsets and broaden their knowledge through training, interactions with like-minded individuals, and guidance from DSTA mentors.

Virtual Qualifiers

and Training

Participants can look forward to virtual training in AI. Teams will compete against each other in a virtual qualifier round by developing AI algorithms for vision and language tasks. Participants will build a computer vision model which detects and recognises various targets of interests, and build language models which can accurately transcribe and understand speech.

Semi-finals selection/ Preparation Window

Following the conclusion of the virtual qualifiers, top scoring teams will be selected for the semi-finals. Participants will also be able to deploy and try out their advanced and versatile AI solutions in the systems used in the physical semi-finals and finals.

Physical Semi-finals and Finals

Participants will use advanced AI techniques (such as reinforcement learning) to train and develop their AI system to operate in a dynamic environment with other teams to achieve the assigned missions. Speed, accuracy, and robustness are the key to success!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION

This competition is designed for post-secondary to undergraduate students.

This activity requires a team of three to five people. Each team should have at least TWO SINGAPOREAN CITIZEN registrants to be eligible.
